Nathan Nunes, President
Marketing Director at International Minute Press. He has been working in the printing industry for the last 4 years, first as a graphic artist then transitioning into Marketing about a year ago. He graduated from Skyview High School in Nampa and is currently a Sophomore at CWI studying Business Marketing. Nathan has always enjoyed serving his community first as the President of the Mayors Youth Advisory Council, then doing 6 months of mission work in Canada and Thailand, and currently sits as the Secretary on the Executive Board for AAFV. He believes that he continues to succeed in business because he continues to self-educate, reading an average of one book a week in the year of 2017. Nathan lives in Boise, Idaho.
Raquel Krol, Vice President
Raquel currently serves as Vice President of Global Human Resources at Vitalize, the holding company of Bodybuilding.com, based in Boise. Raquel has a strong passion for bettering the lives of children and families and has dedicated her time and resources to many charities. Raquel brings vast experience and proven success at leading the alignment of corporate strategic planning.
Virginia Godina, Treasurer
Virginia is a strong survivor of domestic abuse, began her journey with AAFV as a volunteer, quickly became the Ambassador Manager, and is now serving on the Board of Directors. Virginia is currently the Branch Manager at First Interstate Bank and has strong community ties. Having been raised in Canyon County, volunteering and serving on many committees, Virginia brings great passion to serve within AAFV and further our mission of eliminating violence.
Rachel Cossel, Secretary
Rachel Cossel is a Business Development Officer for Idaho Central Credit Union. She is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University with a degree in Communication Science and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication from Northeastern University. Her husband Johnathon is a high school teacher and together they have two young boys, James and Christopher.
She got involved with AAFV after God laid the organization on her heart. She attended a luncheon to learn more and knew immediately she had to get involved on a more serious level. She has been involved in her communities for years through local chambers of commerce, service clubs, and multiple non-profit groups with a desire to make a positive impact where she lived. In addition to AAFV, she also serves on the board of directors for the Third District Guardian ad Litem Program. She believes in working towards a world without violence and making a difference in a person’s life at a time.
Alan Jones, Board Member
Alan is a husband and father, and along with his wife, is raising 3 grandchildren. He is currently the Director of Sales for the Holiday Inn Express Nampa. He serves on the boards of Nampa Rotary, Encore Theater Company, Church Deacons, and Co-Chairs the Nampa Tourism Council.
Alan became an Idahoan 30 years ago and has been, highly involved in the Treasure Valley community, especially in Canyon County of late, for over two decades. From events to politics to the performing arts, he developed trusted relationships that will hopefully aid in this service. Alan has seen the lasting effects of abuse from several family members and friends. He has a passion to serve God and people. Serving on the Board of Directors for Advocates Against Family Violence, Inc., is a great avenue to accomplish this with far-reaching effects.
